Nextool.ai MCP Server — AI Tools for Claude, Cursor & More

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor connect to external tools and data sources. The Nextool.ai MCP server gives your assistant direct access to the Nextool.ai directory, so it can search, compare and recommend AI tools without leaving the conversation.

To use it, add the Nextool.ai server to your MCP client configuration (for example claude_desktop_config.json in Claude Desktop) and ask your assistant about AI tools in plain language.

What the server can do

  • Search tools by name, description, pricing and category.
  • Get full details for a tool: description, features, use cases, pricing and categories.
  • Browse tools with filters for category, pricing, featured and verified status.
  • List every category with tool counts, and browse a category’s tools.
